What Disciple Making Should Look Like

Questions for Reflection

  1. Do you believe the church is your building or the people?
  2. How is your church training its people to engage those in their circle of influence with the gospel?
  3. What do you believe works better an event/program driven church, or a church on mission? Why do you believe what you believe?

Very powerful, I think we need to stop “Preaching” at people, and start living our lives. By living out what He has taught us, and letting our daily lives speak more than our words we will have a better chance of people responding to His message.

    1. Jeff,
      Thanks for reading and commenting.

I agree with you on the one hand. Our lives either show we believe the gospel or they don’t. It is extremely important we be doers of God’s Word so others can see that difference in our lives.

On the other hand, I believe it is extremely important we speak the gospel into people’s lives. Without hearing the gospel others will not know why we are different and they will not be able to respond to the message.

I don’t think you mean we should not speak the gospel but that we should make sure our message has also taken root in our life. So I do agree with you, I just wanted to clarify for other readers.

Hope you are doing well. Thanks again for interacting with my post. Look forward to more interaction in the future.

      Blessings,
      Casey
